Gosh, pretty soon Sen. Biden is gonna run out of TV stations that he can feel "safe" being interviewed by.

Apparently, to sorta paraphrase an old saying:
"When the questions get tough --- the tough get... uh, er, um... get mad (and go home) ?!?"

Joe Biden needs this election campaign to get over with soon... he is getting pretty thin-skinned lately... probably from his suffering with an increasingly severe case of "foot-in-mouth disease".

The stock market shot back up today like a moon rocket on steroids! 889 Points!

Foreign markets look like they are following suit tonight which just might give the U.S. stock market some "legs" to sustain an upward trend on Wednesday.

All eyes are on the predicted (and hoped for) interest rate cuts to be discussed and announced on Thursday... anything to show that loan money is a bit more available from banks again.

Now, we just need about two more weeks of daily 889-point jumps... then maybe my accounts will be about back to even. (These past few months have been... Ouch !)

Well, now... isn't that just a frigging "funny" Halloween display they have out in West Hollywood, Los Angeles, in the politically in-correct State of California?

An effigy of Gov. Sarah Palin (Republican VP candidate) hanging by the neck in a rope noose...
pretty damn funny don't you think?

And, of course, nobody has the guts (or common decency) to make the pervert who put up the "Halloween display" take it down.

The Sheriff of LA County (apparently a solid, kool-aid drinking Democrat) didn't find a "hung" Sarah Palin offensive at all...

BUT... when asked "what if" that would were a Sen. Obama effigy hanging on display...

Now, THAT would be a totally different thing, he stated... Gee, I wonder what would make Obama's effigy more "deserving of protection" than this Palin effigy?

By the way...
WHY... all of a sudden, is there a critical need to make a warped "political statement" that is thinly diguised as a "Halloween display"... and then WHY hide behind the First Amendment for Freedom of Speech and expression?

Yep, it's time for the "hate Bush" crowd to come out of the movie studios again with more "trash the Republicans' and "it's all Bush's fault" films to try and brainwash the voting public by whitewashing any Democrat culpability and by dogpiling all the crap onto any and all Republicans. Typical, isn't it. Well... they can throw more of their money away on their left-wing propaganda films... Oliver Stone's "W.", Bill Maher's sacriligious "Religulous" and Michael Moore's "Slacker Uprising"... all are spiteful so-called comedy/biopic/documentaries aimed at smearing the evil Republicans while praising, covering for, and rewriting the history books of devious Democrats everywhere. Give me a good ol' flag-waving, patriotic and actually funny comedy film anytime... "An American Carol" is just that movie... and my wife and I are going to see it tonight at our local "small-town America" theater. (I'll give you a review tomorrow)

Why do actors, directors, writers, producers, singers, and celebrities-in-general think their political insights, viewpoints, and opinions are so much more important that ours? Why do they feel the need to preach their regurgetated, biased "hate-speak" to us poor, misguided, uneducated pions ???
I do believe they each get one vote... and I get one vote. Gosh, it sounds like mine is pretty much equal to theirs than... how about that!

Wow... what a stretch and a "double-half-gainer twist" somebody is trying to put on poor ol' Gov. Palin's words as she campaigns more aggressively! She is beginning to point out the shady characters in Sen. Obama's recent past who served him as mentors, advisors, acquaintances, and "pals" as she calls it. She also points out the unorthodox career climb of Barack Obama and how he views America in a different way... from a different upbringing and background. The Democrats don't like these things pointed out at all. There is not one mention, hint, or even faint mention of him being part Black or briefly Muslim educated... so where is the "racism" in her comments... all I hear is the airing out of the facts... we need to hear more of this for the whole last month!

Google is helping sort through the thousands of bloggers out there that throw their 2-cents worth opinion out on the net for others to digest. Their service groups recent blog entries by topic or general subject and helps readers fight through the other clutter that might only be vaguely related to a subject. I'm all for that... I get so tired of reading stupid blogs (unlike this one of course) that maybe have one or two relatable search words in them.

WOW ! Now that's a big surprise & headline, too. Stop the presses !

L.A. is caving in to "Political Correctness". Who'da ever thunk it could happen ?

Why did the LAPD cave in to a little letter from the ACLU and Muslim-American leaders crying about someone wanting to know where large numbers of Muslims live in the city ?

MAYBE, just maybe, the LAPD should resolve this NOT by dropping their mapping plan... but by EXPANDING the plan ! Why not discover where large concentrations of other major ethnic or religious populations are in the City of Angels ???

Such expanded info could be very useful to the police, social welfare groups and city planners, (...oh, and the INS) too.

As explained in the article, Muslim-Americans were targeted in case there were terrorist sympathizers or support groups. That's a righteous, understandable reason to me.

BUT don't forget about the German-Americans, Italian-Americans, Asian-Americans, Mexican-Americans, Latino-Americans, African-Americans, Jewish-Americans, Illegal Alien-Americans... and don't forget the most abusive, vocal, vengeful and dangerous of all... the Hollywood-Americans !

Each of these groups have their own minority of dark, "shadow" cultures associated within them (and great restaurant cuisines too)... BUT why shouldn't a large city learn where its people are (both legal and Illegal) ?

IF NOT for Homeland Security reasons (and to justify why the LAPD keeps receiving millions of $$$ from that Federal Government agency)... then disregard the crying of the very misguided few (can you spell ACLU) and DO IT for the protection of the many legitimate Americans (the millions of southern Californians) !
