Foreign markets look like they are following suit tonight which just might give the U.S. stock market some "legs" to sustain an upward trend on Wednesday.

All eyes are on the predicted (and hoped for) interest rate cuts to be discussed and announced on Thursday... anything to show that loan money is a bit more available from banks again.

Now, we just need about two more weeks of daily 889-point jumps... then maybe my accounts will be about back to even. (These past few months have been... Ouch !)

Hollywood's Warner Brothers Studios has chosen NOT to show interview excerpts from a new DVD release of the 1987 movie "Hanoi Hilton"... until AFTER the November 4th election.

They say they don't wish to affect the election in any way by showing a favorable interview with Sen. John McCain who was the basis for this Vietnam prisoner-of-war movie.

The conservative interviewer, Lionel Chetwynd, laughed and said,
"Finding someone in Hollywood who says they don't want to affect the election... is like finding a virgin in a brothel".

That line of thinking sure didn't stop Hollywood from rushing to get Oliver Stone's President Bush "comedy/Bush-basher" movie "W" released into theaters just weeks BEFORE the election.

Gosh... there couldn't really be some passive-aggressive, liberal-leaning, Democrat-loving, Republican-hating, thinly-veiled conspiracy going on in Hollywood... now could there?

Halloween Display Aims For 'Shock Value'.

Well, it worked... this is a "shocker" and has all tongues wagging about the infamous "race card".

A wild Democrat... Ron Havens, of Odessa (NY, I guess... or maybe Texas?), has this Halloween
display in his front yard near a highway. He tries to do a politically-charged Halloween display each election year to show his (blind) support for the Democrat party.
This display, as pictured above, shows nicely dressed "Sen. Obama" running away from a Ku Klux Klan (KKK)-hooded "Sen. McCain" who wields a baseball bat and is chasing Obama.

There is no indication of Mr. Haven's own race, but he is not apologetic for this display and says he has no intention of taking it down.

Mr. Havens says he did this to emphasize his personal feelings about the McCain campaign's treatment of the Obama campaign.

Yeah, right...
just another enflaming, liberal, Democrat crying a "race-card foul" when there isn't anything of truth to cry about.

Gov. Sarah Palin is starting to call out the Obama campaign... she expects them to 'rein in' the ACORN group. (She even lambasted Obama's camp for this ACORN connection on the live radio interview with Rush Limbaugh today!)

This group has done massive, nation-wide voter registration sweeps these past 2 years... and are recently being found to have presented "dubious" registration cards to voter registration boards in numerous states.

Literally thousands, and thousands, of fraudulent individual registration cards... some have "dead" people, some are people registered up to 70+ times each, some are cartoon characters, some have fictitious addresses, and so on, and so on.

The Obama campaign is trying to distance themselves from ACORN... but, as usual there are some "links" between the up-and-coming Obama that just can't be hidden or denied any longer.

This could be the largest voter-fraud attempt to "steal" a major election in our American political history... with all the legal challenges and accusations that will inevitably come to follow.

That is, if ACORN's involvement is found to be truly devious and with an "Obama connection".

We are now witnessing history-making moves in the stock market... all in the WRONG direction!

One year ago today was the all-time record high for the Dow Jones at 14,100+ ...12 months later we are at a 5-year low (under 8,600) and headed even lower.

I'll be glad when this marathon Presidential election fiasco is over... so SOMEBODY, ANYBODY... in Washington, DC can finally get around to thinking about stabilizing this stock market rather than playing political "gotcha" on the campaign trails.

What a waste of money and especially time this election crap is becoming. Time that would be much better spent with all the genius senators (and our oh-so-brilliant congressmen, too) back in DC doing their jobs... for their constituents... for a change.

My great State of Illinois - (nearing bankruptcy because of our glorious Gov. Blagojevich) - is proposing a separate school now for the "gay" students in the Chicago area so their feelings will be more understood and they can learn about gay and lesbian "role models".

Wake up people... high school is for learning to actually read, write, and 'rithmetic enough to get your little butts out into the real world and get a job. Save all your liberal sexual experimentation for the college campuses, gay bars, or internet dating... and how about you try a few worthwhile role models like Shakespeare, Archimedes, DaVinci, Einstein, Beethoven, Plato, and Galileo, etcetera.

What's next... separate schools for kids with acne, or kids who stutter, or kids with crooked teeth? Just so they won't feel "different" around the other students and they won't get teased?

The article says the school will be open to all students and would probably end up with a "majority of straight" students anyway.
Well, gee... that sounds to me like a Chicago public school as it is already... so, WHY waste more of our dwindling State tax dollars on this ridiculous proposal?

Quit worrying about this stuff... Quit promoting "gayism" in minors... and start teaching Illinois kids how to read and write and... graduate!!!

Well, crunch time is here and the millions are flying right and left! Sen. Obama has tons and tons of donation money to spend on TV ads... and he is trying to smother the Sen. McCain campaign with a thick blanket of message ads in the key swing states.

So far it is giving him (Obama) a slight boost in the polls as they get into the home stretch... but... it has also attracted attention as to the "where" and "who" of the Sen. Obama landslide of donations that keeps rolling in.

Possible money from foreign country individuals, over-limit for personal donations, along with fraudulant voter and "ghost donors" money is all coming under suspicion.
Although these accusations are being looked at, Sen. Obama smartly continues to spend his donation money faster than the proverbial drunken sailor.

The "Obama Channel" on Dish Network is costing him a fortune... but... it is slowly lulling the American public with the Obama mantra that is looped and repeated (24 hours a day) like a mind-numbing indoctrination over and over and over.

If Sen. McCain wants to keep it a close race, he'd better start spending on more TV ads... quick.
Spend it while ya' got it... leftover "war chest" money on NOV 4th will be pretty much useless!

That was the intelligent finding of a study that analyzed the economy and ill effects the crashing financial market is having on us Americans!

Well, duh... it doesn't take a genius (well maybe a whole staff of PhD's) to conclude that some people are going to stress out over the little things in life like losing half their retirement savings in the stock market... or maybe losing their jobs and benefits when greedy CEOs mismanage big companies... or maybe when they lose their house because skyrocketing credit card rates and balloon mortgages kicked in.

Hell yeah... if that happened to me, I think I might start chain smoking, drinking, and feeding my face, too !!!

Next time, just save the money spent on this study... and apply it to a few mortgages out there.

The whole world's markets are taking a strong hit in the nose with this "bailout" uncertainty and fallout.

What a "great" job our U.S. Congress has done these past few years watching & helping all those predatory lender companies and unqualified mortgage recipients get giant loans they had no ability (and maybe no intention) to pay back.

Obama Youth - Junior Fraternity Regiment

Look out... the Obama Youth Junior Fraternity Regiment is coming our way! This is only a group of 10 Black teenage boys in a Kansas City public school, afterschool program... but... how many more of these little "groups" are out there in inner cities across the U.S. swearing an oath of allegience to their mentor and leader Sen. Barack Obama?

It might initially be seen as a group of minority youth espousing their admiration for their larger-than-life inspiration (Sen. Obama)... but... the "uniforms" of battle dress army camouflage pants, black t-shirts and combat boots are quite disturbing. Their fists-clenched together "salute" as they give their individual "because of Obama" chants is not a German "Sieg Heil", but it also isn't a mild Boy Scout hand salute either.

Is this just a community organizer-type event or the growing seeds of minority groups in lockstep, who have sworn allegience to one great inspirational "leader"? Where is the teacher or local organizer responsible for the "guidance" or teachings of these teenagers?

I know it is a far cry and big leap from the 1930's Germany (the Brown Shirt youth), 1940's Russia (Stalin's KGB), or even 1960's Cuba (Fidel and his boys)... but... innocent groups sometimes get blinded and misled and before you know it there are small groups like the Black Panthers, Weathermen Underground, Hell's Angels or Simbianese Liberation Army.

I'm NOT saying in any way, shape, or form that this is a sprouting radical group, but... Don't ever say it just can't happen here to us in our good old U.S. of A.

Wow, Gov. Palin has sunk her 'pit bull" teeth in and is not letting up! She is putting the bite on the Sen. Obama campaign by getting the topics of William "bomber" Ayers and Rev. Jeremiah Wright out in the open where they ought to be. These shady associations need further discussion and the broad American public deserves to be informed of Sen. Obama's mentors.

These continued, weekend accusations heated up the campaign rhetoric Monday and now Obama's camp is dropping threats out there that if McCain doesn't call off his "attack dog" (Gov. Palin) he (Obama) will bring up the Keating 5 scandal from McCain's past.

This should make for a bare-knuckle discussion at tomorrow night's Presidential debate... it just depends how the topics are broached and who gets the first (and most memorable) right-cross in there to his opponent.

No light jabs will do for tomorrow night... some knock down blows are called for and need to be delivered whenever an opening is given! No more pussy-footing around the "sensitive" subjects... just Go Get Him! This could finally get interesting.

Yea, that's great... have the Vietnam-era Draft Dodger (who ran up to Canada for a few years to avoid serving in his own U.S. military)... have him be a celebrity concert act for the Obama Campaign. I'll bet Bruce Springsteen doesn't wear a flag lapel pin either... like Sen. Obama... when he is out stirring up the crowds for the big O.
I myself would rather go see the USA-loving, patriotic, comedy movie "An American Carol"... I wouldn't even walk across the street to see a money-grubbing, draft dodger sing his music and listen to his biased anti-Bush rantings.

Every State has a constitution that directs them to have a balanced budget yearly... so QUIT spending your money on overpriced, overprotected, outrageous State programs, projects and whimsies! The way a budget is supposed to work... Calculate how much income you will have for the period --- spend ONLY that much money (or even less) = Balanced Budget !!! It's not brain surgery... just simple old-school math. Everyone needs to STOP asking for freebie handouts... suck it up... and live within YOUR OWN means.

After weeks of buildup where Sen. Joe Biden was praised as the great mature orator who would trounce the bumbling bimbo Governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin in debate... it's all over with a veritable TIE. Pre-debate expectations were high for Sen. Biden and moderate for Gov. Palin... both having pressure to perform well on TV. It was entertaining and Senator Biden made few minor mistakes and stayed courteous throughout... Gov. Palin was also knowledgable, effective and confident much to the dismay of her recent media "executioners". I would say let's have a biden vs. McCain debate next week... followed by a Palin vs. Obama debate (now THAT would be a debate not to miss) !!!

It looks like Nancy Pelosi overloaded her mouth with a big helping of foot this morning! She gave a great, inspiring speech on the floor of the House which tried to put her version of the Democrat spin in the House record books as the usual "it's all Republicans' fault and we blameless Democrats are here to save you"... it was Bullcrap when she said it, it was Bullcrap when GOP members heard it, and it turned the whole stock market to Bullcrap when GOP members and fairminded Democrats threw the Bailout Bill back in her face. Great Job again Nancy "Miss Not-For-America" Pelosi.

Obama/Gov. Blagojevich/Tony Rezko/Rev. Wright/Bill "bomber" Ayers/Rev. Jackson/etc.)... should have waved his hand over them all and convinced/led them all to see the light of his way! Why no mention of the 90+ Democrats who voted against the Bailout that Barack Obama "Failed To Deliver"???

- "Low Expectations" Set For Palin

Gov. Mitt Romney feels that the McCain camp is downplaying the Sarah Palin matchup for Thursday night's VP candidates debate. Romney urges the McCain handlers to let her go out to more interviews and just be herself more... if she flubs once in a while then it's not such a big deal... just let her meet the American people. Now he is making sense... Gov. Palin should not worry about how well Sen. Biden does in debates. She needs to just reply to questions using her own words, beliefs, goals and convictions... let America see that she is much more like the tens of thousands of America-loving "middle Americans" than either of the Democratic candidates. Gov. Romney was correct that she should also give more public appearances... BUT... I see no need at all in gracing the studios of such places as CBS, ABC, NBC, MSNBC, the Couric Show, The View, Oprah's Show, Letterman's Show, etc.... those are just Republican-despisers and hatefilled arenas that try to belittle, disrespect, twist, roast, edit and misrepresent anything she or Sen. McCain try to get across to their audiences. Stay with large crowds of general public audiences (nowhere close to Hollywood, CA) and let them know what Gov Palin/Sen. McCain plan to do for America once elected. Gov. Palin is a true asset to the ticket... we all need some fresh ideas, faces and visions to regain our future path as a great, patriotic, and democratic nation.
