"Trapped Miners in Chile":

It's great to start the day off with good news for a change... the escape hole punched thru to the 33 miners trapped 2,000 feet below the surface - this is a full 2 months sooner than anyone ever expected!!!

The miners will probably start being rescued sometime around next Wednesday. It will take quite a while to get them all out 1 at a time, each riding that 2,000 feet up in a small escape capsule. A paramedic is planned to go down into the chamber the men are trapped in when the rescue capsule is first lowered; to give first aid and initial relief.

Although they have suffered for a couple months being trapped down there, everyone is relatively healthy and they have become sort of local heroes in their country. Apparently book, television and maybe even movie deals are rumored in the works.

Godspeed and a safe return is wished for all the trapped miners and their tireless rescuers.

The numbers are starting to go more consistently AGAINST him... and FOR his Senate-seat challenger Sharron Angle!

Just maybe Harry Reid, the current (for a short time more) Senate Majority Leader, is starting to see the blood writing on the wall... and it doesn't look good to him. He is throwing up millions of dollars in ad money to wage a negative, mudslinging campaign against Ms. Angle... since he has nothing to brag about of good substance for his own actual deeds.

Looks like all the jamming-down-our-throats and backroom arm-twisting to force expensive deals and bills through is going to finally catch up to Mr. Reid and dozens of his fellow Democrat henchmen.

3 November can't get here soon enough for us down-trodden taxpayers... who are going to vote da bums OUT!!!

"Dozens of Freshmen Have Date Rape Overdoses"

Dozens of young college Freshmen, nearly 30 girls (and even a few guys), were treated at the hospital for an overdose of an unknown drug (probably roofies) that was spiked in their drinks at a college party this weekend!

No suspects are arrested yet... but, they deserve the worst of what is coming to them.

If you can't get a girl any other way... well, you are always going to be such a creepy "loser" the rest of your life.

And the way you spiked everybody's drinks was VERY dangerous and cowardly!!!

A true loser to the end... I hope they throw the key away to your jail cell once they catch and convict you!

Oh, but wait, there is a silver lining in this jail-time situation for you...

at least you will get PLENTY of ready-and-willing "sex dates" for your young butt while you're in the slammer... and you won't even need a date-rape drug!!!

"UFOs Buzzing Around China?"

Look... up in the sky! It's a Bird... no, it's a Plane... No, it's a flock of UFOs buzzing around the night skies of China!!!

What is up with that? What does China have that we don't have? We want some UFOs too!

This recent sighting caused several airliners to be diverted to other airports and even closed the local airport for an hour or so... but, aren't the Chinese officials a little bit worried or maybe even a little bit curious?

This was the 8th time since June 2010 for UFO encounters over Chinese airspace... and no real apparent concerns!

Something must be up the sleeves of those tricky Chinese communists... but why can't they hide their experimental planes a little better and stop scaring their locals.

We better keep an eye on those rascals... they are up to something... maybe an alien resort or spa... or maybe a hot new alien vacation destination!!!

It looks like Nancy Pelosi overloaded her mouth with a big helping of foot this morning! She gave a great, inspiring speech on the floor of the House which tried to put her version of the Democrat spin in the House record books as the usual "it's all Republicans' fault and we blameless Democrats are here to save you"... it was Bullcrap when she said it, it was Bullcrap when GOP members heard it, and it turned the whole stock market to Bullcrap when GOP members and fairminded Democrats threw the Bailout Bill back in her face. Great Job again Nancy "Miss Not-For-America" Pelosi.

Since when is it any single Senator's duty to sway all others to vote a certain way... if that was the case, then the great "savior of all saviors" Senator from the (politically and fiscally screwed up) State of Illinois ...(I can say this because I unfortunately live in Illinois---home of Sen. Obama/Gov. Blagojevich/Tony Rezko/Rev. Wright/Bill "bomber" Ayers/Rev. Jackson/etc.)... should have waved his hand over them all and convinced/led them all to see the light of his way! Why no mention of the 90+ Democrats who voted against the Bailout that Barack Obama "Failed To Deliver"???

Gov. Mitt Romney feels that the McCain camp is downplaying the Sarah Palin matchup for Thursday night's VP candidates debate. Romney urges the McCain handlers to let her go out to more interviews and just be herself more... if she flubs once in a while then it's not such a big deal... just let her meet the American people. Now he is making sense... Gov. Palin should not worry about how well Sen. Biden does in debates. She needs to just reply to questions using her own words, beliefs, goals and convictions... let America see that she is much more like the tens of thousands of America-loving "middle Americans" than either of the Democratic candidates. Gov. Romney was correct that she should also give more public appearances... BUT... I see no need at all in gracing the studios of such places as CBS, ABC, NBC, MSNBC, the Couric Show, The View, Oprah's Show, Letterman's Show, etc.... those are just Republican-despisers and hatefilled arenas that try to belittle, disrespect, twist, roast, edit and misrepresent anything she or Sen. McCain try to get across to their audiences. Stay with large crowds of general public audiences (nowhere close to Hollywood, CA) and let them know what Gov Palin/Sen. McCain plan to do for America once elected. Gov. Palin is a true asset to the ticket... we all need some fresh ideas, faces and visions to regain our future path as a great, patriotic, and democratic nation.

So What's the big deal ? Why do we even care ?

She was just trying to fire the first volley of verbal "spit-balls" at her rivals; trying to appear tougher than her last showing... (when for days after the debate, she pouted and acted like she got her little feelings hurt when the big, bad boys named Edwards and Obama were picking on her... just because she couldn't make a straight statement without flippin' and a floppin').

Let them all throw their mud, jab each other, stab each other and brand one another with labels like untrustworthy, wishy-washy, dishonest and evasive.

Even the Republican candidates are getting in on the mud-slinging at each other.

I DON'T CARE ! MAYBE, Just Maybe... They shouldn't care either.

They should be able to stand straight and tall and let the "mud" slide right off their backs... without having to get down in the mud with the rest of them. BUT that can only be done IF they had a PLAN that actually ADDRESSES REAL LIVE ISSUES !

Forget about the name-calling and SHOW US YOUR DETAILED PLANS regarding better Border Security, improved Health Care, WINNING in Iraq/Afghanistan, ending Poverty in America, removing Illegal Immigrants, Homelessness, or reducing Crime in America.

Or MAYBE they could give us their "Yes" or "No" stance on many of the hot topics of today (abortion, gun control, universal health care, drug wars, crowded prisons, overtaxation, illegal aliens, overtaxed military, and on and on) WITHOUT going into a whole soliloquy and trying to straddle both sides of the fence on the straightforward issues.

Just TELL US WHAT your plan is, WHY you feel it is needed, and HOW you plan to accomplish it for the good of (legal) U.S. Americans everywhere.

Then step back, let us compare their personal qualities and plans... just LET US DECIDE who is the best candidate and which candidates SHOULD have "mud in their eyes".

FINALLY. He listens to the uproar and protests from the people of New York against such an idiotic idea as giving ILLEGAL (NOT undocumented) ALIENS a NY driver's license !!! What was he thinking anyway?

BUT... it sounds like the ONLY reason he dropped this pursuit was because it was causing him (and Hillary) too much grief in their own political popularity polls ! NOT because it was the wrong thing (let alone a stupid thing) to propose in the first place.

LEGAL documented immigration is great... BUT why GIVE people who snuck into the USA ILLEGALLY any more priveledges than they already have ?

What's next... should the Governor propose giving Bankrobbers (that's ILLEGAL too) a new, free checking account ? Or maybe give Car Thieves (that's ILLEGAL too) a free rental car for a week ? Or maybe give Muggers (that's ILLEGAL too) a free gold watch with every mugging?

Each of these (ILLEGAL) law-breakers would have to be registered to get their free gifts... then Governor Spitzer would definitely know where they live in his fair State of New York so he can better watch over and care for them.

The Governor worries that there are hundreds of thousands of ILLEGAL ALIENS driving in NY without a license or insurance. Instead of blaming Bush and crying to Washington for Federal help ($$$) to fix his ILLEGAL Aliens problem... MAYBE his own policing efforts should be more focused.

MAYBE he should strictly enforce the State's existing Illegal Immigrant Laws and the Unlicensed/Uninsured Motorists Laws, and...

MAYBE he should loosen the "Politically Correct" anti-Profiling restrictions now forced upon, and tying the hands of, his State and local police forces.

Why not do unscheduled, periodic roadside checks where licenses, insurance, and sobriety (and passports or green cards or visa documents) are checked ?

The old saying applies: If you aren't doing anything ILLEGAL... why would you complain about having these items looked at ?

And especially, once an ILLEGAL ALIEN is found driving illegally... DO THE RIGHT THING... SEND HIM (and his illegal family and illegal friends) BACK TO THEIR COUNTRY OF ORIGIN !

Just a one-way ticket out of the USA. Let them apply and come back LEGALLY next time.
