Well, we're off and stumbling already!
The Florida early-voting fiascoes are starting... AGAIN.
With average wait times in voter lines of nearly an hour, numerous electronic voting machines had to be replaced... often causing delays of 2 or more hours.
Many voters said they felt "uneasy" about whether their votes were actually registering in the machines and would be counted.
I don't know, BUT... how do you recount an "electronic" hanging chad?

WOWZAH !
An interview in the... uh, er... (can I say "Left-leaning") magazine, "The Week"... asked Robert Shrum his thoughts about the last few weeks of these Presidential campaigns.
It should be noted that Robert Shrum was a chief campaign strategist for Al Gore in 2000 (who lost)... and then for John Kerry in 2004 (who also lost)... can there maybe be some sour-grapes or chip-on-the-shoulder viewpoints here?
This same Robert Shrum, in the following two sentences, exhibits all the characteristics of the mud-slinging, cry-baby, and hate-filled biases of the current Democratic campaign:
"Democrats, scarred by the stolen election of 2000 and the near miss of 2004, privately worry, wring their hands and, traveling cyberspace’s vast expanse, trip over a discouraging word, poll, or prediction. Generally, they needn’t look farther than the Drudge Report, which shamelessly selects information—and disinformation—in order to stereotype Barack Obama and denigrate his prospects."
Mr. Shrum --- still pouting over his lost efforts for Gore and Kerry --- attacks the "Drudge Report" for trying to bias the headline news by "cherry-picking" polling numbers.
What???
He wants us to believe the CBS News Poll numbers?
The NY Times polls?
The Washington Post polls?
Yeah, right... and I'll go buy some Florida swampland, too.

Sen. Obama is scrambling to dodge the repercussions of Sen. Biden's comments about a generated international crisis will "test" a new Obama Presidency.
A test... a baptism by fire... for the inexperienced senator from Illinois?
I sure don't want to see it... (and I'm from Illinois).
If State and then U.S. Senator Obama could NOT even lower the crime rate in his newest hometown of Chicago...
or raise the high school graduation rate in Chicago (currently at about 57%)...
WHAT can we expect his results would be in facing down an international "test" crisis ?

Well, I guess Sen. Obama has all his "bases" covered (World Series bases that is).
While in Philadelphia he says he roots for the Phillies...
In Florida, he says he roots for the Tampa Bay Rays!
At least he can say his favorite team is a "sure winner" at the end of the Series.
Sounds like he wants his cake and to eat it too.
That sounds familiar:
he wants to cut taxes on MILLIONS of people, BUT...
he also wants to spend BILLIONS of our tax dollars on giveaways, welfare and help programs.
Hmmmm, how does this "magic" formula work?
